Welcome to Awelon caravan holidays,  Come  and stay in one of our caravans in beautiful North Wales.  We have two static caravans to rent throughout the season on the popular Golden Gate Caravan Park in Towyn.  The caravan Park is just a few minutes walk from the beach which has been awarded the Marine Conservation Society's highest award for water quality.

Towyn Holiday Village in north Wales

Within a few minutes walk from the holiday Caravan park are many amusements and activities for both children and adults. Tir Prince Leisure Park is a fun day out for all the family including the famous Race Track and for the kids there is Williams funfair and for shopping there is a large market every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.

 13 miles to Llandudno

Here in North Wales Llandudno is one of the largest and most popular of the Welsh holiday seaside resorts, and still retains much of its Victorian character and charm. The golden sandy beach at North Shore is set in the magnificent crescent shaped bay, flanked by the Great Orme  which is featured in the BBC's Walks Through Time website and  the Little Orme, with Llandudno's elegant Victorian promenade lying protected between the headlands. Visit the Great Orme Tramway which opened in 1902 and is Great Britain's only remaining cable operated street tramway and one of only three surviving in the world. 

 

 

 

  

 

 3 ½ miles to Rhyl

Visit Rhyl holiday resort for three award winning beaches and bucket loads of fun. Stroll along the seabed at Rhyl’s Seaquarium wallow or surf in the tropical waters of the Sun Centre or get that adrenalin rush at the Ocean Beach Funfair. 5 miles from Prestatyn

Prestatyn has a more leisurely holiday feel sitting at the northern end of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail is perfect for walkers. Add to that a challenging round of golf, an abundance of local history including a Roman bath house and picturesque Meliden village. interestingly, sightings of UFOs have put Prestatyn on the BBC's Wales Homepage. 30 miles to Snowdonia National Park

Towyn holiday village is also close to the beautiful scenery of Snowdonia National Park. Nowhere else in Britain will you find such variety, in such a compact area, as you will in Snowdonia - or Eryri as it is known in Welsh. There are many places to stay, and things to do in Snowdonia, so come and enjoy the Mountains, Beaches Moorland, Steam Railways, Forests, Lakes, Valleys, Castles  and Celtic Culture all here in North Wales
